Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine

February 24, 2024, is the anniversary of the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. These two years have been full of tremendous challenges, but they have not broken our strength, spirit, and will.

Today, we not only remember those claimed by the war but also express our gratitude to those who helped us survive to continue working for the good of Ukraine.

We thank our friends and colleagues in Ukraine and abroad. We are grateful to all partner organizations and institutions that have been supporting our projects in Ukraine over these two difficult years — IREX.Ukraine, UNHCR, Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, The Black Sea Trust (BST),  The Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine (NRC), NRC – Norwegian Refugee Council, CARE.Ukraine USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance  CARE, People in Need, MAD, GlobalMedic, Choose Love, Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic,  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, The British Embassy in Ukraine, The Embassy of the United States in Ukraine.

Your humanitarian assistance, moral support, and extraordinary efforts helped us overcome numerous difficulties and survive in the most challenging periods. 

We are grateful to all donors and partners who have supported the Foundation’s activities since 2015 when we first started helping people affected by the war and the country’s first internally displaced persons. 

You have helped provide food, medical supplies, vital services, and other essentials to Ukrainian civilians affected by the war. Your help has become a symbol of hope and solidarity for our people.

? 417,690 people received humanitarian aid from February 24, 2022, to February 05, 2024.

? 718 light and medium-complexity repairs were carried out from February 24, 2022, to February 05, 2024.

?135 IDP Councils have been established with the support of the Foundation throughout its history.

? 170,804 individuals have received legal and social support since the Foundation’s establishment.

? 79,906 individuals have participated in workshops or webinars on the protection of the affected population since the Foundation’s founding.

? 223 Social Protection Departments, village and city councils across 21 oblasts of Ukraine have been provided with office equipment and furniture, creating 543 new jobs (as of February 5, 2024).

? 48,228 social protection system professionals have received consultative support (as of February 5, 2024).
