The Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” is a Ukrainian charitable organization that has been helping to address the social consequences of war and providing comprehensive support to internally displaced persons since 2016. We offer humanitarian and legal assistance, repair damaged housing, strengthen the social protection system, and develop the network of IDP Councils, which our Foundation initiated in 2019-2020.
Our activities span the entire country, focusing on rebuilding war-affected communities and improving access to social services for the most vulnerable populations.
What We Do
We implement humanitarian and social initiatives aimed at overcoming pressing challenges. Our key areas of work include:
Humanitarian assistance for war-affected populations:
- Meeting the basic humanitarian needs of IDPs and residents of frontline communities in Ukraine-controlled territories.
- Rapid response to humanitarian crises.
- Implementing long-term projects to address humanitarian challenges.
Community recovery and development. We carry out initiatives that foster social cohesion, support youth participation in community life, and promote the development of civil society.
Advocacy. We advocate for the rights and freedoms of IDPs, returnees, and all those affected by the war at both regional and national levels.
Legal awareness. We raise awareness of civil rights, gender equality, and democratic values.
Support for IDP Councils. We strengthen and expand the network of IDP Councils, train new members, and develop methodologies to enhance their effectiveness in serving war-affected individuals.
Support for the social protection system. We provide institutional, consultative, and technical support to government institutions working in the social protection sector and help build public trust in them.
Our Achievements
Over nine years of operation, we have:
- Provided assistance to thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and residents of frontline communities.
- Organized dozens of national and local forums, workshops, and events to engage communities and support IDP Councils.
- Supported numerous local projects aimed at strengthening social cohesion.
