CARE International and CFSSS launch project to help 100k+ Ukrainians

After two months of war in Ukraine, CF “SSS” and the international aid organization CARE launch a partnership to scale-up life-saving humanitarian assistance across the country. As demand for basic humanitarian aid remains high, CF “SSS” and CARE aim to provide food packages, hygiene items and medical kits to over 100,000 internally displaced people in 14 regions of Ukraine, including Lviv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk.

“Now, more than ever, we need to unite to save lives,” says Karl-Otto Zentel, National Director of CARE Germany. “With CF “SSS” we have found a great partner to increase access to necessary relief supplies, especially for vulnerable groups like women, children and elderly. For us, it is absolutely crucial to scale up our support for these people who have shown incredible resilience in the past months.”

“Partnership with an organization of the size and experience as CARE is a great opportunity for us to help much more people in need and to become faster in humanitarian response to the local communities. We are grateful to our international partners for their willingness to help Ukraine”, — says Anna Borysova, project manager of CF “SSS”.
