The Koryukivskyi Raion’s territorial center is committed to assisting its community’s most vulnerable members with firewood preparation.
“The center offers assistance to over 2,000 community members, including disabled individuals, lonely senior citizens, large families, and families who sought refuge in the Koryukivska community due to the war. The majority of these individuals reside in private homes equipped with stove heating. Our center’s staff offer free assistance to those unable to gather firewood on their own,” shares Tetiana Korma, the regional coordinator of Stabilization Support Services in Chernihivska Oblast.The center’s existing saws were already heavily used and thus, Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services, in collaboration with Choose Love, contributed two robust chainsaws to the Social Services Center staff of the Koryukivka City Council. This means that the center’s staff can now offer faster assistance to Koryukivka’s residents with their domestic tasks.
We are confident that this aid will boost the territorial center’s effectiveness and enable even more individuals to benefit from the essential assistance.
