During the past three weeks, we have held 6 webinars for Social Protection employees

Our Foundation continues to raise awareness among Social Protection specialists on the improvement of providing assistance to the IDPs. This month, we held six webinars for Social Protection representatives in five oblasts of Ukraine. Online webinars were attended by 157 listeners.

In October, we covered the following topics and areas:

  1. Compensation for the damaged property (Donetska oblast)
  2. Registration and procedure for providing living assistance for internally displaced persons under martial law (Kharkivska oblast)
  3. Features of working with internally displaced persons and providing them with assistance in view of the upcoming heating period (Donetska oblast)
  4. Changes in the mechanism of allocation of IDPs living assistance: current issues (Kyivska oblast)
  5. Features of application of the labor legislation provisions in the condition of martial law (Ternopilska oblast)
  6. Features of receiving aid from international humanitarian organizations by IDPs (Odeska oblast).

Our regional coordinators Natalia Sikora, Olga Averina, Oleksandr Yavtushenko and Yana Shkuratova, Stanislav Troshin spoke about the mechanism of compensation for the damaged property, important amendments to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, updates regarding IDPs social guarantees. In addition, we informed Social Protection representatives of Odeska oblast about the possibility for displaced persons to receive assistance from international humanitarian organizations both through eDopomoga platform and without using it. Thanks to this, Social Protection specialists will be able to help IDPs in seeking help from international humanitarian organizations.

Our Charity Foundation conducts these webinars in the frames of a joint project with the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. The goal of this project is to support specialists who work directly with the IDPs.
