Assisting IDPs is of paramount importance. We’ve succeeded in enhancing the living standards of the inhabitants at the shelter for internally displaced persons in the Dnipropetrovska Oblast.
The IDP shelter in Pershotravensk welcomes those fleeing from war zones. It accommodates around 100 individuals, primarily evacuees from Donetska Oblast, as well as IDPs from Luhanska, Zaporizka, and Kharkivska oblasts.
Choose Love’s generous assistance enabled the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” to provide furniture, pillows, blankets, dryers, and household appliances to the Pershotravensk IDP shelter.
«These shelters house individuals who lack the financial means to rent apartments. Currently, residents include a mother with a child with disabilities, and senior citizens. Since the shelter’s inception, occupants had been sleeping on children’s beds. Discussing the shelter makes me cry. The living conditions were extremely challenging.
