On July 10th, the first presentation of the board game At The Crossroads took place in Kyiv. The event was organized by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services”.
Representatives from international organizations and embassies were invited to the presentation. Among the guests who joined the game were Anna Kuzmina, Partnership Officer at People in Need Ukraine, Uliana Bakh, Project Director at IREX in Ukraine, and Matthew R. Johnson, Stabilization Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
During the presentation, we introduced the game’s concept, shared its creation story, and conducted a game session accompanied by lively dialogue.
At The Crossroads serves as an important platform for initiating conversations and dialogue, helping players better understand the challenges faced by internally displaced persons and refugees from Ukraine.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended this event! We plan to hold more presentations on this important project. Stay tuned for our updates and join our future events!
The game At The Crossroads was created by Ukrainian professionals with firsthand experience of forced migration, in collaboration with migration experts. This project was made possible with the support of the Swedish Institute under the Migration and Integration module of the Swedish Institute Academy for Young Professionals. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the School of Public Administration at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and the School of Social Sciences at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (Georgia).
