With the support of Choose Love, our Charity Foundation provided assistance to the dental clinic Izmailov Dental (Kyiv) for treatment of displaced persons. Patients are referred by Holosiivskyi Social Assistance Center and volunteers.
From the first day of the war, Izmailov Dental has been treating the internally displaced persons free of charge. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 40 people have received free treatment thanks to this dental clinic.
The clinic has asked us for assistance in order to continue providing free dental care to people who need it most now. With the support of Choose Love, we purchased materials and medicines for the clinic for UAH 52 thousand: disinfectants, special gloves, Tetric composite for sealing, cement and primers for fixing seals. According to the clinic, thanks to these materials, doctors will be able to see 15-20 patients a month.
“We started providing free dental care to people as early as on February 28. This is not our first experience of such treatment on a charitable basis – we have been doing this since 2014. We know for ourselves what it is like to be a displaced person when you start over from scratch in a new city and without resources for expensive treatment. However, it is extremely important to take care of your health, regardless of location and living conditions. It is our duty today to maintain the physical health of the population, and thanks to the help of Charity Foundation “SSS”, we will be able to continue to do so in the future,” said Olga Izmailova, the founder of the clinic.
