The “Stabilization Support Services” Charitable Foundation is implementing a new project aimed at supporting vulnerable populations in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The project’s goal is to reduce winter risks and protection challenges among war-affected and displaced populations in frontline and hard-to-reach areas of Ukraine, as well as to ensure access to vital assistance.
As part of the project, support will be provided to people living in conditions of constant danger and limited access to resources, so that they can get through the winter more safely and better respond to emergencies. The project will run through December 2026.
Overall, as part of the project, our Charitable Foundation plans to:
– Provide psychological and legal support to people in the most affected and frontline communities. Planned activities include: group sessions on psychosocial support, as well as individual psychological and legal consultations
– Distribute hygiene kits to people with disabilities, families with children, women, and girls. Planned quantities include: personal hygiene items, feminine hygiene products, and kits for people with disabilities.
– Provide cash assistance for solid fuel to conflict-affected families and IDPs living in rural areas of frontline communities.
– Ensure the provision of standardized cash assistance to people living in territorial communities located within a 0–50 km zone from the border with the Russian Federation.
The assistance is provided as part of the project “Prepared, Protected, and Resilient: A Winter Readiness and Frontline Response Initiative”, implemented by the “Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation” in partnership with the international humanitarian organization CARE, with financial support from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
