Meeting with charity organization Choose Love

Recently, we have met for the first time in person with Josie Naughton, CEO of the British charity organization Choose Love and Brooke Hammerling, the PR specialist. Choose Love is our partner, together with whom we have provided humanitarian aid in 82 communities in different regions of Ukraine. They were among the first responders when a full-scale war began: already on March 1, we started to cooperate to help the people affected by the Russian aggression. Our regional coordinators brought food and hygiene kits, medicines, baby food and diapers, household chemicals, blankets, bed linen and even appliances to the IDP settlements. In total, thanks to the support of Choose Love, more than 54,000 Ukrainians received help.

By the way, the Choose Love initiative has an extremely interesting history: it was founded in 2015, when the Syrian conflict began, and an unofficial refugee camp was located in Calais, France. More than ten thousand people stayed there in terrible conditions. Seeing this, Josie Naughton left her successful PR career and started a non-governmental organization that provided refugees with everything they needed – food, sleeping bags and tents. Over time, the initiative turned into a large organization that helps refugees and displaced persons in many countries of the world.

The meeting was very warm: we were glad to finally see our partners after several months of fruitful cooperation in remote mode. We have shared with Ms. Naughton and Ms. Hamerling the stories of Ukrainians whom we were able to help thanks to their support. As always, we are ready to implement new joint projects with Choose Love.
