Modern Office Equipment Delivered to Social Protection Institutions in 20 Oblasts

Our activity of providing social protection institutions with new equipment for setting up workspaces is nearing completion. We are sharing the results of our work over November and December.

In the last months of the year, we delivered sets of modern office equipment to specialized administrations and departments in 20 regions.

These sets included laptops, multifunctional printing and scanning devices, cartridges, Wi-Fi routers, uninterruptible power supplies, power strips, external hard drives, and office supplies.

For example, the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Semenivka City Council received 2 sets of equipment. According to Iryna Kulyk, the project’s regional coordinator in Chernihivska Oblast, the center operates in difficult conditions due to its location near the Russian border. The modern equipment simplifies and accelerates the work of the institution’s employees, who need to provide social services promptly, efficiently, and in some cases, on the move.

“We are very grateful to you. Since its creation, our center has not received such support from international benefactors. These 2 new workstations will help us address many challenges we face. Thanks to the laptops, we can work during power outages and remotely if needed. Overall, processing of paper documentation will be faster with the new MFPs,” shares Borys Fediuk, the center’s director.

The Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Mykolaivska Oblast received 6 sets of equipment for setting up remote workplaces. Now, the institution can provide services to residents of the community as close to their homes as possible. This is particularly relevant for elderly people, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, etc.

“Currently, Mykolaivska Oblast is the nearest center for receiving and providing services to internally displaced persons from Khersonska Oblast who cannot receive them at their place of residence. Thank you for your assistance! It is very effective, as it allows us to provide services to IDPs and people affected by the war more efficiently and with higher quality,” explains Iryna Ahafonova, head of Citizen Service Department № 3 (service center).

We are delivering equipment to social protection institutions in targeted communities as part of the project “Supporting the Capacity of the Social Protection System to Register Internally Displaced Persons,” funded by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine.
