The Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” team participated in the regional forum “Responding to War-Inflicted Damage: Building Partnerships with Frontline Communities”, held on October 23–24 in Kyiv.

The event was organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ukraine and the International Registry of Damages. The main goal of the forum was to establish effective cooperation with local authorities on documenting and compensating damage caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Over the two days, more than 200 participants—including representatives of government agencies, local self-governments, civil society organizations, and international partners—discussed ways to make the recovery process more transparent and accessible for those affected by the war.

Key topics of discussion included:
- Practical mechanisms for documenting destruction;
- Submitting claims to the International Registry of Damages;
- Involving frontline communities in recovery processes;
- Informing citizens about available compensation and support from international organizations.
Participation in the forum provided the project team with the opportunity to share their experience working with affected communities and establish new partnerships for future joint activities.

“We thank the organizers for a meaningful event and all participants for open discussions, constructive ideas, and shared commitment to helping people rebuild what they have lost,” noted the project team.
