Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services launches the active stage under the project CARE Ukraine Winterisation and Resilience Program, aimed at meeting humanitarian needs and improving the living conditions of the population. The project will cover individual communities in the Mykolaivska, Zaporizka, Khersonska, Dnipropetrovska, and Kharkivska oblasts.
As part of this project, we plan to:
- Distribute hygiene kits in the Khersonska and Mykolaivska oblasts;
- To help people prepare for the next winter by providing them with insulation kits and solid fuel kits;
- To help restore private housing by carrying out light repairs and distributing quick repair kits;
- Improve living conditions in Collective Centers.
On March 25, the first distribution of hygiene kits intended for families of three was held in the Mykolaivska Oblast.
“People are very satisfied,” – says Anna Vasylenko, regional coordinator of the Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services in the Mykolaivska Oblast, “the kits are large, heavy, of high quality, and contain items that are truly essential for the elderly.”
The project plans to distribute 500 hygiene kits, 600 emergency repair kits, 500 insulation kits, and 300 solid fuel kits.
It also provides for the improvement of living conditions for IDPs in eight Collective Centers and carrying out 525 repairs of private housing.
