Project with mobile laundry and bathing complexes supported in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions

In the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, there is a need for mobile laundry and bathing complexes, legal advice, and the opportunity to receive free tools or sew their own clothes.

In particular, the Mykolaiv City Social Protection Department wrote a letter in support of the project, and the Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation signed a Memorandum with the Snihuriv and Horokhiv communities in Mykolaiv Oblast and the Dariivka, Bilozerska, and Kherson communities in Kherson Oblast.

The communities of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions have needs for drinking water, hygiene, including personal hygiene, non-food items, support for families with people with disabilities, legal and psychological counseling, financial assistance, etc.”, said regional coordinator Anna Vasylenko.

That is why the project “Comprehensive Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons, Non-Displaced Persons Affected by the War and Those Who Returned to Ukraine through the Provision of Protection, Psychosocial and Financial Assistance, Housing and WASH Services” is being implemented in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions by the Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation and the German humanitarian organization Sign of Hope with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO).

As part of the project, a social workshop will be set up with two areas of work: sewing and light household repairs, mobile laundry and bathing complexes will travel around the communities, and legal advice will be provided to residents of the frontline areas.
