The Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” will repair institutions providing services to local residents in the settlements of Khersonska and Zaporizka oblasts that suffer from frequent and intensive shelling. The primary focus will be on replacing windows, repairing roofs, renovating sanitary facilities, and installing boilers in places where people live permanently. Additionally, premises will be refurbished to ensure accessibility for everyone.
The project team reviewed 130 applications from territorial communities in the target regions and selected the following institutions for repairs:
- Four temporary accommodation facilities based at Zaporizhzhia National University and Zaporizhia National Technical University.
- Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
- Social Protection Department of the Bilozerska Village Council (Khersonska Oblast).
- Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Primary Health Care Center, General Practice – Family Medicine Ambulatory Clinic No. 32” (Zaporizka Oblast).
- Bilozerska Village Council (Khersonska Oblast).
- Myroliubivska General Practice – Family Medicine Ambulatory Clinic (Khersonska Oblast).
- Bilozerska Ambulance Station (Khersonska Oblast).
“The selection of institutions for repair was a meticulous task for the entire project team. We carefully analyzed each application from the community. Our regional coordinators in Zaporizka and Khersonska oblasts inspected the damaged buildings. Only after receiving complete and reliable information from both the local residents and those displaced due to Russian aggression did we make the final decision,” said project manager Yuliya Suchok.
According to her, repair work on the designated institutions will begin in July and should be completed by the end of 2024.
