This year, thanks to our Foundation, a social laundry began operating at the Center for Social Services in the Sadivska community of Sumska Oblast. Over 150 local residents are currently using its services. Recently, the laundry was equipped with new professional washing machines and dryers. The recipients of assistance openly express their gratitude.
“Before, we had to plan around the weather to dry clothes, but now that we have a dryer, that problem is gone. We can wash and dry clothes anytime,” says Inna.
Another local resident, Nina, adds that her home washing machine can’t handle large items, so having access to professional equipment is a huge help. In addition to purchasing the equipment, our Foundation also covers the costs of electricity, water supply, and detergents.
