We continue to provide social security institutions with new equipment to enhance their workplaces and ensure stable operations during power outages. This effort is a key focus of our project to strengthen the social protection system.
In October, four communities in the Zaporizhzhia Region received sets of modern office equipment, including laptops and multifunctional printing and scanning devices. We delivered three sets to Shyroke amalgamated territorial community, four to the Service (Department) for Children of Zaporizhzhia City Council, four to Komyshuvakha amalgamated territorial community, and one to Vilniansk amalgamated territorial community.
The heads of these institutions share how this support has met their needs.
Natalia Malyshkina, head of the Social Protection Department of the Shyroke village council said: “We are grateful to the Charitable Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” for the equipment provided to equip three workplaces in the Shyroke village community. The equipment sets, including laptops, printers and stabilisation units, will be used by the Social Protection Department of the Shyroke community and allocated to the head of the IDP Council and the veteran’s assistant. This support will enable our specialists to work more efficiently and enhance the quality of their services.”
Nataliia Syvoraksha Director of the Service (Department) for Children of Zaporizhzhia City Council commented: “The service is responsible for 3,010 children in difficult life circumstances and 1,086 orphans and children deprived of parental care. The service supports 9 foster families (18 children), 10 family-type children’s homes (74 children), and 748 guardianship families (59 children). Currently, 4 family-type children’s homes, 13 foster families, and 30 guardianship families who have left the temporarily occupied territories are on the operational register. According to parents’ applications, the service has granted 3,781 children the status of victims of hostilities and armed conflicts.
Regular hourly power cuts during martial law result in work interruptions and hinder timely data entry into the Unified Information and Analytical System (UIAS) “Children” database. Equipping the service’s staff with modern office equipment and technology is an investment not only in their effectiveness but also in the future of the children they support. This enables the service to respond more promptly and effectively to the needs of the most vulnerable groups of society and ensures the proper protection of their rights. Thank you for your support and we look forward to further fruitful cooperation!”
Iryna Shakina, Head of the Social Protection Department of the Executive Committee of the Vilniansk City Council:
“The Executive Committee of the Vilniansk City Council expresses its gratitude to the Charitable Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” for the computer equipment provided! We look forward to continuing our collaboration! We wish you peaceful skies and our victory as soon as possible!”
We are transferring the equipment to social protection institutions in the target communities as part of the Project “Supporting the Capacity of the Social Protection System to Register Internally Displaced Persons” funded by the UNCHR Ukraine.
