Restoring water supply in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Tomakivka water utility receives new equipment

In March 2026, the Tomakivka water utility reached out to our foundation with a request for assistance, and by May, a modern pipe welding machine had been delivered to the community. The equipment transfer took place within the framework of the project “The Strengthening resilience and protection of conflict-affected individuals, communities, and systems in Central and Eastern Ukraine”.

It is worth noting that this is not our first joint initiative. Last year, we actively cooperated with the utility by providing energy resilience equipment and pipes for urgent repairs. This step became a logical continuation of our systematic support.

Responding as quickly as possible to the needs of frontline communities remains a priority for us, especially where infrastructure continues to operate under constant pressure due to ongoing threats. The new welding machine is already helping utility specialists repair damaged sections more efficiently and install new water pipelines to ensure stable water supply to households in the Tomakivka community.

The Strengthening resilience and protection of conflict-affected individuals, communities, and systems in Central and Eastern Ukraine project is implemented by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” in cooperation with the international humanitarian organization CARE and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
