The accompanying photos capture the cheerful faces of employees at social protection departments in the Zaporika, Odeska, Poltavska, Zhytomyrska, and Khmelnytska oblasts. In the past weeks, regional coordinators Anastasiya Perepelytsia, Stanislav Troshyn, Roman Shyrokykh, Oleksandr Pinchuk, and Nataliya Savytska made visits to these departments, presenting them with upgraded equipment to facilitate their tasks.
The transferred equipment included new laptops, multifunctional devices for printing and scanning, ink cartridges, Wi-Fi routers, uninterruptible power supplies, surge protectors, and external hard drives. We also ensured that the departments were supplied with essential office stationery. These resources are geared towards enhancing the quality and accessibility of social services for the affected population, making them more accessible for IDPs, and easing the workload of the employees.
We plan to transfer the equipment to nine more oblasts of Ukraine by the end of September. By the year’s end, our objective is to ensure that all target communities across the 24 oblasts are equipped with the necessary tools for optimal operation.
We are delivering equipment to social protection institutions as part of the Supporting the Capacity of the Social Protection System to Register Internally Displaced Persons project funded by the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
