We handed over power converters for Kyselivka, near Chernihiv

The village of Kyselivka is located a few kilometers from Chernihiv, its population is about 2,400 inhabitants. It was heavily damaged by shelling right after the beginning of full-scale invasion – many houses were partially or completely destroyed. With the onset of cold weather, housing heating is becoming a topical issue, as many buildings were left without heating and the capacity to store heat, while some of these houses are inhabited by the elderly people.

The representatives of the local community from Kyselivka approached our coordinators and asked for help with heating of the houses damaged by shelling.

With the help of our partners from Choose Love, we were able to identify the locals’ immediate needs, purchased 15 power convectors and delivered them to Kyselivka. Special thanks go to our regional coordinator for Chernihiv region @Anna Nikolenko-Baieva for the heating equipment transportation and transfer.

“Stabilization Support Services” Charity Foundation’s team continues to identify the needs of the war-affected population and directs all its efforts to help them.
