Currently, Lviv region has become a temporary shelter for tens of thousands of IDPs from all over Ukraine. According to the data of Lviv Regional Military Administration, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this region has hosted more than 600 thousand people, and today about 200 thousand IDPs live there.
Last week, our regional coordinator Oksana Yakovets visited the Social Protection Department of Chervonohrad City Council and handed over to its employees 2 sets of equipment, which include: laptops, MFPs, routers, hard drives, protective screens, tables, chairs. We know that this equipment will help to create additional jobs for IDPs registration and improve the work of Social Protection employees.
Our Charity Foundation purchases and transfers technical equipment to the regions in the frames of the project “Social protection system capacity support in registration of the internally displaced persons”, supported by the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. Thanks to this project, we manage to improve the technical support of the host communities and support them in providing assistance to the displaced persons.
