We have held webinars for social workers from Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions

We continue our regular webinars for social security workers. Last week, we held two online events at once on “Registration of internally displaced persons under the martial law” for 64 specialists from Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Our regional coordinators Anna Nikolenko-Baieva (Chernihiv region) and Tetyana Mamchych (Dnipropetrovsk region) together with the participants discussed what “internal displacement” is and how an IDP certificate should be issued.

The following issues were also addressed:

  • which legal acts regulate the procedure for registering IDPs;
  • how to register IDPs under the martial law;
  • what are the features of issuing a certificate of registration of IDPs, including minors;
  • when it is necessary to refuse issuing an IDP certificate;
  • in which cases it is necessary to revoke the IDP certificate.

Our coordinators told what advice can be given to visitors and shared the practice of solving problematic issues related to the registration of internally displaced persons under the martial law.

We would like to remind you that our Сharity Foundation holds regular webinars through a joint project with the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. In the frames of this project, we inform and support the representatives of the social protection sector, who work directly with the displaced persons.
