Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services continues to seek financial opportunities to help the displaced persons in Ukraine. This time, with the support of the Danish organization The Danish Refugee Council, our Charity Foundation purchased and donated humanitarian assistance amounting to UAH 265 thousand to the people who are currently located in Kharkiv and the region.
Our regional coordinators assembled meal kits which included pasta, cereals, canned meat and fish, pate, milk and bread, received by 883 persons in Kharkiv and the region, of whom 207 persons were the displaced ones. People from 12 residential settlements received assistance – both in Kharkiv itself (Saltivka, KhTZ, Oleksiivka districts) and in the towns and villages of the region (Eskhar, Zhykhar, Babayi, Kutuzivka, Mala Rohan, Zavoddya, Barvinkove, Okhoche villages and Dergachi, Kolomak and Valky towns). In addition to targeted delivery, the products were also delivered to Kharkiv bomb shelters.
“Indifferent citizens do their best to help those who need it. We are very grateful to DRC for humanitarian assistance to children, displaced persons and victims in the war zone in Kharkiv region! Thank you for your support and sincere and compassionate hearts“, said Olga Averina, the coordinator of CF SSS in Kharkiv.
