From September 2023 to July 2024, the team of the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services”, in collaboration with the Khersonska Oblast Centre “Successful Woman” NGO, is implementing a new project aimed at addressing the primary needs of families affected by the war and assisting their return to a normal life.
Over the course of the project, we will:
– Transfer 300 winter non-food kits to the Uspishna Zhinka NGO for distribution in Kherson;
– Carry out 224 household repairs in the Beryslav Raion of Khersonska Oblast.
During the distribution of the non-food kits, gender considerations and the needs of those facing different forms of discrimination will be taken into account. As for the repairs, they will focus on buildings and apartments that have minor non-structural war-related damages, such as damaged roofs and windows.
The overall budget for the project exceeds $566,000.
The project Lifesaving Shelter, MPCA, SRH, and Protection Assistance for Conflict-Affected Communities in Rural Hromadas in Mykolaivska and Khersonska Oblasts is carried out by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” and the Khersonska Oblast Centre “Successful Woman”, in partnership with the international humanitarian organization CARE, supported by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
