With the illegal annexation of Crimea and the onset of the conflict in Donbas in 2014, Ukraine was confronted with the issue of internally displaced persons (IDPs). While great lengths were taken to provide social services to this population, they still face obstacles that are not immediately apparent to the general public.
IDP Adventure is our first game, developed through our flagship Radnyk programme, and it is designed to educate the Ukrainian public about the lives of IDPs and the challenges they face. Players take on the role of IDPs and go through the various stages of migration and integration, informing themselves about the process and addressing persistent stereotypes.
