In Partnership with the International Organization for Migration Ukraine
Integrating IDPs into local communities is a key factor in creating social cohesion, which in itself assists in recovering from the consequences of conflict and occupation. To that end, CF SSS partnered with the International Organization for Migration Ukraine (IOM Ukraine) to offer long-term support and assistance to IDPs developing grassroots initiatives addressing social cohesion.
Taking the form of full-day workshops, CF SSS staff offered training to IDPs in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts which strengthened their capacities for active participation in the socio-economic development of local communities. This was followed by grant-writing support, with continued mentoring and monitoring support for successful grant applicants.
The success of this program and format has lead to continued partnership with IOM Ukraine.
