Lifesaving Response to Protection Risks and Humanitarian Needs of Conflict-Affected Population in South and South-East of Ukraine

In the period from September 2023 to May 2024, the team of the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” is implementing a new project, Lifesaving Response to Protection Risks and Humanitarian Needs of Conflict-Affected Population in South and South-East of Ukraine. This project is aimed at helping people affected by the war in remote areas of Khersonska, Zaporizka, and Mykolaivska oblasts.

During the project, rapid response teams will be established to ensure the following:

  • Delivery of drinking water to the affected communities;
  • Distribution of 300 non-food kits;
  • Distribution of 1500 hygiene kits with a range of contents for different genders and ages;
  • Distribution of multi-purpose cash assistance to 910 affected individuals.

We will also work with communities to identify and assess the needs of local residents who require special support, such as people with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence or other traumatic events. This data will be shared with relevant national support services as well as CARE’s proprietary case management system to plan assistance.

The total budget of the project exceeds 471,000 euros.

The project Lifesaving Response to Protection Risks and Humanitarian Needs of Conflict-Affected Population in South and South-East of Ukraine is being implemented by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” together with the international humanitarian organization CARE and with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
