CYLA Project. Cohesion Through Youth-Led Action

The CYLA Project (Cohesion Through Youth-Led Action) aims at:

  • Uniting Ukrainian youth (18-29 years old) in Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions;
  • Supporting young Internally Displaced Persons in their integration into new communities;
  • Enabling young people to become successful and influential in their regions by gaining new knowledge in the fields of public administration, human rights, policy development, advocacy, communication, etc.;
  • Incorporating the ideas of young people, including Internally Displaced Persons, into national, regional, and local policies.

During 2021-2022, we will develop a network of leaders who have been among the Internally Displaced Persons, involve them in advocating for the rights of young people, and help establish dialogue and cooperation with governmental authorities.

Beyond other things, we are planning to launch all-Ukrainian information campaigns for both young people and the general public regarding opportunities for Internally Displaced Persons, in particular, finding long-term solutions for their integration.

The team of Stabilization Support Services (Charitable Foundation “SSS”) will implement the CYLA program. Cohesion Through Youth-Led Action in partnership with IREX in Ukraine and with the support of the US Department of State.
