We have the first reviews of the educational series «IDP Councils: From Adaptation to Impact», released in January.
Olha Altunina, Head of the IDP Council under the Kyiv City Military Administration, shared her impressions:
«For everyone working in IDP Councils, this series will be particularly valuable due to its comprehensive approach. Each episode covers a specific aspect of their work — from strategic planning to performance evaluation.
The second episode, dedicated to building partnerships, resonated with me the most. IDP Councils serve as a bridge between displaced persons and authorities, and we need like-minded allies to strengthen our efforts. It is crucial for councils to establish effective cooperation with government coordination hubs, and international and national organizations, including UN humanitarian clusters. The series provides detailed guidance on the mechanisms of such collaboration. This is an opportunity to expand the IDP Council’s influence on decision-making at the national level, attract resources, and exchange experiences.
For the IDP Councils that are just beginning their activities, this series will be a useful step-by-step guide on their way to development. Experienced Councils are encouraged to review the course to improve their knowledge and develop their communities even more effectively through the integration of IDPs».
And don’t forget: everyone who completes the tests will receive a certificate!
Enhance your knowledge — it will help your IDP Council influence key decisions and improve the lives of displaced persons in your community.
