The team of the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” assists people with limited mobility who have been affected by the war in the South of Ukraine.

We provide humanitarian aid that includes food, water, and hygiene products. Specifically, we offer hygiene kits for people with disabilities, which contain a towel, rubber gloves, adult diapers, absorbent pads, soap, and laundry detergent.

“People respond differently to such aid. Some cry, some rejoice, and they tell us that these kits last them for six months, making it a significant financial relief,” shares regional coordinator Oksana Levada.

Since elderly people, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from surgery may have difficulty moving around, one of our main tasks is to ensure they have comfortable conditions for receiving assistance.

“Usually, instead of people who have difficulty moving, social workers, relatives, or caregivers come to us. However, we understand that not everyone can come to receive the aid. Therefore, our team is ready to deliver aid directly to the homes of those who need it,” said Oksana Levada.

Our team assists residents in the Zaporizka and Khersonska oblasts within the framework of the  Lifesaving Response to Protection Risks and Humanitarian Needs of Conflict-Affected Population in the South and South-East of Ukraine project.

The project is implemented by the CO CF SSS in cooperation with the international humanitarian organization CARE, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
