Invitation to training: “Providing shelter services to internally displaced persons with limited mobility”

We invite social service professionals to participate in a training session focused on improving the provision of shelter services to internally displaced persons with limited mobility.

❗️ Please note: This training is designed for organizations officially listed in the Register of Social Service Providers. The following are invited to participate:

– providers who are already participants in the pilot project in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1169;

– registered social service providers who are planning to join this project.

Currently, Ukraine operates a phased model of support for IDPs during evacuation. The social service of shelter is not just a roof over one’s head, but a critically important stage in a person’s integration into a new community. Our goal is to provide you with effective tools for assessing needs, determining the degree of limited mobility, and developing high-quality integration plans.

The training program covers:

✅ requirements for service providers and the specifics of working during

martial law;

✅ a phased support model: from a transit center

to a new community;

✅ skills for conducting in-depth needs assessments;

✅ workshops on developing individual social service plans.

The training will last two days and combine theory and practice.

🔗Day One: theoretical foundation, regulatory requirements, monitoring, and quality control. Register at: https://forms.gle/V3U6bZJcYXHZRE2s7

🔗 Day 2 (in-person): case studies, group work, and practical skills training. Register at: https://forms.gle/CjX2rMhCsSPyYtfR7
