
Our Support for the Social Protection System, IDP Councils, and Hromadas in March. Our project to strengthen the capacity of the social protection system continues. Here are some key results from our work.
- Zaporizka Oblast. We facilitated the creation of an IDP Council in the Mykhailivka community and conducted an initial capacity assessment in 2026.
- Ivano-Frankivska Oblast. We equipped the new training center of the Ivano-Frankivska Oblast Center for Social Services with modern equipment and furniture. The space has become an important base for the professional training of social workers in the region.
- Rivnenska Oblast. We supported the opening of the Rivnenska Oblast Center for Social Services and a training space at the Rivne City Social Services Center by providing them with new office equipment and furniture.
- Sumska Oblast. We conducted a strategic session for the IDP Council under the Executive Committee of the Lebedyn City Council, during which improvements to the local program for supporting internally displaced persons for 2026–2027 were incorporated into the city council’s operational and strategic plan.
- Khersonska Oblast. We assisted the Beryslav community in developing a mechanism to respond to cases of gender-based discrimination and human rights violations.
- Cherkaska Oblast. We supported the initiative of the Vodyanytsia IDP Council to create housing in the premises of inactive schools and provided consultations to the local self-government on attracting government funding for their reconstruction.
- Chernivetska Oblast. Together with the IDP Council, we prepared a legal position on payment delays, enabling the resumption of living allowance allocations.
