In July 2025, construction began on new water pipelines in the Pavlivska community of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. This became possible thanks to the support of our charitable organization within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Resilience and Protection of Conflict-Affected Persons, Communities, and Systems in Central and Eastern Ukraine.”

The Pavlivska community had long required an upgrade of its water infrastructure. The old pipelines could no longer handle the load, and some settlements had been without centralized water supply for years. The new pipes provided through the project will bring water to residential homes, public institutions, and critical infrastructure facilities.

“People have been waiting for water for years. Now we have a real opportunity to solve this problem. I am grateful to everyone who helped us make this happen. It means a lot for our community,” says Anatolii Klymenko, head of the Pavlivska village council.

Water is a basic human need. In communities affected by war or struggling with outdated infrastructure, ensuring reliable access to water is essential for a dignified life and public health.

The work in Pavlivska is yet another example of how cooperation between civil society, local authorities, and international humanitarian organizations can deliver tangible results for people.

The Strengthening Resilience and Protection of Conflict-Affected Individuals, Communities, and Systems in Central and Eastern Ukraine project is implemented by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” in cooperation with the international humanitarian organization CARE and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
