
Registration is now open for the new “Social Change Forums: Ways to Support Older Adults from Displacement to Integration” — interregional forums for staff members of social protection agencies.
The events will be organized by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” as part of a project to strengthen the capacity of the social protection system, implemented with the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
About 100 participants will come together to identify effective models for the adaptation and integration of vulnerable groups of internally displaced persons (IDPs) into communities and to highlight best practices.

- international partners and non-governmental organizations influencing the transformation of local social protection systems in the context of protracted population displacement.
What we’ll discuss:
- coordination among all stakeholders during the final stage of evacuation;
- strengthening communities’ capacity to make decisions that ensure the adaptation and integration of people with experience of internal displacement, with a focus on older adults, people with limited mobility, and people with disabilities, through the analysis of practical models;
- interregional exchange of experiences and development of partnerships.
