The event was organized by the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” as part of a project to strengthen the capacity of the social protection system, implemented with the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
The discussions will focus on:
- promoting the capacity of communities to develop effective solutions for the adaptation and integration of internally displaced persons from vulnerable population groups, with a special focus on older adults;
- interregional exchange of experience;
- developing partnerships and identifying mechanisms to launch social services with a focus on the practical application of developed solutions at the community level.
We invite representatives from the Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Volyn, and Zakarpattia regions:
- government bodies (regional and community levels);
- the National Social Service of Ukraine;
- transit and coordination centers responsible for coordinating evacuations;
- social protection agencies (at the regional and community levels);
- social service providers, including those in the non-governmental sector;
- healthcare facilities that provide experimental social services.
