264 sets of workplace equipment were the technical assistance we handed over in 2025 to 93 social institutions, thanks to the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has been experiencing an internal displacement crisis. The number of people requiring social protection has increased manifold: the elderly, people with disabilities, people with reduced mobility, and people from other vulnerable groups. The very first link they can turn to is social institutions.
Striving to help each and every one, the specialists of these institutions work under conditions of excessive workload, blackouts, and enemy shelling, using outdated equipment or lacking full technical outfitting. The transfer of modern office equipment and uninterruptible power supply devices is one of the steps in our institutional support for state institutions, which we have been implementing since 2022.
We design all sets after a comprehensive assessment of the institution’s needs to ensure it receives the necessary equipment. During 2025, together with UNHCR, we handed over to communities:
- 160 laptops;
- 145 multi-function printers (MFPs) for printing, copying, and scanning;
- 102 charging stations;
- 100 smartphones;
- 100 tablets;
- 100 hard drives;
- 283 stationery kits.
Check out the photos and read the feedback from several regions about the equipment the institutions received and how it helps them in their daily work.
Dnipropetrovska Oblast

“The Kryvyi Rih City Center of Social Services unites territorial centers of social services (provision of social services) of 7 districts of Kryvyi Rih. As of the beginning of December 2025, over 650,000 people live in the territory of the Kryvyi Rih community, of whom 63,000 are IDPs. Equipment for 4 workplaces will allow increasing the number of covered beneficiaries by approximately 70%. After all, it significantly strengthened the potential of the community’s social protection system and increased the productivity of the center’s employees. In particular, the delivered phones and tablets improved the accessibility and timeliness of service provision, making social work specialists more mobile,” says Olena Kapustina, regional coordinator of the project in Dnipropetrovska Oblast.
Vinnytska Oblast

Olha Datsiuk, Director of the Koziatyn City Territorial Center of Social Services: “As a result of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, the load on the institution has grown: the number of older people and people with disabilities who have lost relatives and caregivers has significantly increased. The delivered office equipment enables the institution to improve its work, respond promptly to appeals, accelerate document flow, and free up time to work with people who need social services. The equipment is used by 4 employees of the territorial center: they accept and process documents from the population, form and process acts of needs assessment and personal files, provide information services, and submit reports.”
Donetska Oblast

Iryna Olenych, Director of the Territorial Center of Social Services (Provision of Social Services) of the Kramatorsk City Council: “As of December 18, 2025, 5,889 families/individuals receive social services at the territorial center. The office equipment we received will help increase the level of specialists’ work. They will be able to react in a timely manner to appeals from local residents and IDPs regarding the provision of social services, promptly assign them through the Social Web Portal of Electronic Services of the Ministry of Social Policy, and provide services with quality and without interruption.“

Zaporizka Oblast

Olena Kaida, Director of the Center for the Provision of Social Services of the Bilenke Village Council: “Tablets are a very convenient tool for the employees of our center, as the case management approach is currently being introduced in the social sphere. With the help of a special program, documents can be accepted at the homes of the elderly, people with reduced mobility, and single pensioners. Also, the ‘Consultative Crisis Phone’ service has been introduced in the community. Our community is constantly under shelling. Phones allow for promptly identifying people’s needs and receiving information about difficult life circumstances, shelling, and domestic violence. Such assistance from the CF SSS and UNHCR is extremely appropriate and will help us better cover the needs of our people.”

Olesia Rieznik, Director of the Center for the Provision of Social Services of the Dolynske Village Council: “Specialists find it convenient to work with tablets, since to provide social services they often travel directly to the recipients. Now they have the opportunity to record all necessary information on the spot. Phones are also very convenient; employees actively use them in processing assistance for solid fuel. They increase our capacity. I thank the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” and UNHCR for the provided charitable assistance, thanks to which we can more effectively ensure the provision of social services in the community.”
Cherkaska Oblast

“The Cherkaska Oblast Center of Social Services is a methodological center that trains social work specialists and carries out supervision, as well as conducts training events for candidates for foster parents, parents-educators, guardians/custodians, adoptive parents, and patron educators. Thanks to the provided assistance, the center transformed the approach to methodological activity, in particular, began using multimedia materials and conducting field training,” says Larysa Khodakovska, regional coordinator of the project in Cherkaska Oblast.
Bohdan Sanzherivets, Director of the Cherkaska Oblast Center of Social Services: “The delivered equipment will work for the benefit of the community for many years, which means the assistance will have a long-term effect. The final result is not just trained personnel, but also a series of improvements. IDPs will receive professional assistance from a competent specialist directly in their communities, and the number of prepared families ready to provide comfort and safety to orphaned and children deprived of parental care will increase. In addition, we will be able to support a sustainable network of social service providers capable of withstanding the load in crisis conditions.”

Nataliia Kostiusha, Head of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Cherkaska Oblast: “Considering the nationwide course towards digitalization, we plan to continue improving work in this direction. Additional computer equipment will allow working at full capacity and provide the maximum number of services to citizens.”
Sumska Oblast

“The situation in the Korovynska community, compared to the border territories of Sumska Oblast, remains stable, so the number of internally displaced people in the community is constantly growing,” notes Liudmyla Rudenko, regional coordinator of the project in Sumska Oblast.
Tamara Olefir, Head of the Department for the Organization and Provision of Social Assistance (Social Services) at Home of the Korovyntsi Village Council: “The department receives citizens daily, processes a significant volume of personal data, sets up and maintains electronic databases, prepares reporting, and processes documents. This requires the use of modern computer equipment and printing means. The received office equipment increases the quality and timeliness of social service provision, reduces the processing time of appeals, and ensures effective work in general.”
