In early 2026, many pensioners living outside Ukraine did not receive their pensions.
Here are some of the most likely reasons for the suspension of pension payments:
- The Pension Fund of Ukraine has no information that the pensioner has completed the identification process (an annual procedure confirming that the person is alive and eligible to receive a pension or social benefits).
- The Pension Fund of Ukraine has not received a notification from the pensioner regarding the non-receipt of a pension from the Russian Federation (for those who have left the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine).
